Do I really need to apply a regenerating cream as part of my home care after a lifting procedure?
Hello. I just got a lifting procedure. After the treatment, the esthetician strongly advised me to make sure to apply a regenerating cream thoroughly during my home care routine.
However, I have sensitive, dehydrated skin that tends to break out easily when I apply oily creams. Most of the regenerating creams I have at home have a heavy and rich texture, so I hesitate to use them because I'm afraid that if I apply them every day, my skin might actually get covered in acne.
Is applying a regenerating cream after a lifting procedure really essential for restoring the skin barrier or maximizing the results? Or would simply applying a generous amount of my usual gentle moisturizing cream be sufficient? If anyone else is sensitive to oil like me, could you please share some tips on how you managed your hydration after the procedure?
