Are lifting procedures often received for preventative purposes?

Recently, while looking in the mirror, I noticed that my facial contours seem a bit different compared to my old photos. It doesn't feel severely saggy yet, but my jawline doesn't seem as defined as it used to be when I'm not smiling. So, I've become interested in lifting procedures and am looking into various options.

However, while searching online, I noticed that although some people receive treatment after sagging has already progressed, quite a few also manage it proactively as a preventative measure. This made me curious about at what point people typically start treatment in practice. I worry that starting too early might be excessive, whereas starting too late could leave something to be desired.

I am also curious if satisfaction is generally high when using the treatment for preventative purposes. I would like to know if one can notice a change even when the loss of elasticity is not severe. For those considering the procedure or who have already received it, I am also curious to know what motivated you to start.
