I've had it done before. How long do the effects of lifting procedures last these days?

Hello~ I am a mom in my mid-40s raising an elementary school-aged boy and girl. The thing is, every time I look in the mirror, I just sigh because my sullen cheeks and nasolabial folds have gotten so deep. Actually, back when COVID-19 hit—that is, a few years ago—I bit the bullet and paid quite a lot of money to get a lifting procedure like Ultherapy at a local dermatology clinic when it was all the rage. Since I had to undergo the procedure without general anesthesia back then, I honestly thought my jawbone was going to shatter, but I remember being very satisfied because after about a month, my facial contours had completely smoothed out, and people around me kept asking if I had lost weight.

However, since then, I’ve been so busy picking up the kids for tutoring and taking care of the house that I didn't have time to look after my face for well over a few years. As a result, my skin lost its elasticity again and became a complete mess. So, I’m thinking of making some time in the morning after dropping the kids off at school to start getting dermatological treatments again. In the past, I think I could easily maintain a V-line for about a year if I just gritted my teeth and got one treatment, but since so many new and less painful machines have come out these days, I feel like I just can't keep up with the trends.

I'm curious how long the skin tightening effect actually lasts once I get a full set of shots for the less painful lifting procedures that are trending these days. Since I'm in my mid-40s, my skin's regenerative capacity and collagen levels aren't what they used to be when I was in my 20s or 30s, so I'm worried whether the results will last as long as they used to or if my skin will start sagging again within a few months. Given that I'm spending a lot of money and enduring the pain of bone-shaving again for this lifting treatment, if there are any moms my age who know the current market prices or are familiar with cost-effective equipment that provides long-lasting results without frequent visits, please leave some helpful tips in the comments!
