For those of you who have had chin fillers, what is the procedure like?
I was looking at candid side-profile photos taken during a trip with friends and was so shocked that I covered my chin with my finger while looking at them. It’s not that I’ve gained weight, but I have a receding chin—so the boundary between my neck and jaw is blurry, and my jaw fat looks like it’s overlapping, making it look like a double chin. I can't bring myself to undergo surgery involving bone reduction or implants because the recovery period is long and I’m scared. A procedure where just 1-2cc of firm filler is injected into the tip of the chin to bring it forward seems like the most realistic alternative. I was completely tempted because I heard that just slightly adjusting the angle of the chin to create a V-line makes the overall facial contour look more sophisticated and gives the illusion of slimmer skin. For those of you who have had chin fillers, weren't you worried about the shape getting distorted when resting your chin on your hand or sleeping face down? I’m also curious if the filler lasts quite a long time compared to other areas since the jaw area moves less.
