Even after applying primer, my makeup still gets stuck in my pores.

Every morning, I spend so much time wrestling at my vanity trying to fill in my pores that I feel exhausted and frustrated. Even if I carefully apply a thin layer of pore-specific silicone primer and pat on cushion foundation, after just a short while, as soon as oil rises to the surface, the foundation and sebum mix together, clumping up into white lumps in every pore. When I try to touch up by reapplying cushion, the pores actually stand out more, and my makeup cakes on thick, bumpy skin like an orange peel, to the point where I feel like I want to wipe it all off. It is so upsetting that covering up imperfections with cosmetics has clear limits and feels like it is only suffocating my skin further.
