I would like to inquire about hair thinning on the crown of my head, visible parting, and hair loss in my 60s.

60대 정수리 모발 얇아짐 및 가르마 비침 탈모 문의드립니다.

Hello. Recently, the hair on the crown of my head has become noticeably thinner and my scalp is showing through, so after much deliberation, I am writing this inquiry.

I am a man in my 60s. Starting one or two years ago, the parting on the crown of my head began to widen, and lately, my scalp is clearly visible under sunlight or artificial lighting. The amount of hair falling out when shampooing or combing has increased, and the fallen hair appears noticeably thinner and weaker compared to the hair at the back of my head.

I am wondering if this is a natural sign of aging or if it is male pattern baldness that requires active treatment.

I currently do not experience any particular scalp pain or itching. I would appreciate a specialist's opinion on whether medication or scalp injections are effective for maintaining or improving hair at this age, and what tests would be performed first if I visited the clinic. Thank you.
