I have seborrheic dermatitis. Would a hair loss treatment be okay for me?
My head constantly feels hot, my scalp has turned red, and dandruff and pimples are breaking out non-stop. I scratch unconsciously because of the itching, which causes oozing, and I can see the hair around those spots thinning and falling out rapidly. Taking or applying medication prescribed by a dermatologist only provides temporary relief; it’s a vicious cycle where the itching and pimples return as soon as I stop taking the medicine, and it’s driving me crazy. I heard that to reduce scalp heat and decrease sebum production, I need to combine professional scalp scaling with scalp Botox to address inflammatory hair loss at its root. I’ve had Botox on my face before, but this is my first time getting it injected directly into my scalp, so I’m very scared about potential side effects. Please share your experiences: Does getting Botox really reduce scalp sweat and oiliness while clearing up the redness? And do you feel a noticeable reduction in hair loss if you sign up for a package deal that includes scaling and receive regular care?
