Is there a good procedure to remove whiteheads under the lips?
Lately, I've been worried because I keep seeing small whiteheads popping up right under my lips. At first, there weren't many, so I didn't pay much attention, but as time passed, they started to become more noticeable. Especially when viewed up close, they feel bumpy, so I feel like my makeup doesn't look clean even when I apply it.
I've been washing my face thoroughly and using products for exfoliation and sebum control, but they aren't going away as easily as I expected. I know I shouldn't squeeze them with my hands, so I'm trying not to touch them as much as possible, but since they seem to keep appearing in the same spots, I'm considering getting treatment at a dermatologist's office.
Has anyone had a good procedure to remove whiteheads under their lips? I am wondering if simply extracting them is better, or if it is more effective to receive other treatments that manage sebum or pores along with it. Since the skin in this area is thin and sensitive, I am also worried about whether irritation or redness might last a long time after the procedure.
If anyone has actually tried removing whiteheads around their lips or chin, please share your experience regarding the treatment you received, whether you saw improvement after just one session, or if regular care is necessary. I am also curious to know which method yielded higher satisfaction: home care or professional dermatological procedures. ๐
