Is this acne treatment effective for cheek acne that recurs at specific times?

My skin is usually in relatively good condition, but at certain times, a few small blemishes pop up around my cheeks, so I am looking into acne treatment.

It isn't severe, inflamed acne, but since it repeatedly appears and subsides around the same time, I am worried about it leaving marks. I’ve heard that hormonal changes, stress, and lack of sleep can have an impact, so I’m curious to know what the cause might be.

Can I expect effective acne treatment even when it occurs periodically like this? I would like to know if it is better to receive treatment only when breakouts occur, or if it is also advisable to manage it for preventative purposes during periods when the skin is relatively stable. Would keeping a record of when the breakouts occur be helpful during the consultation?

If I start acne treatment, I am wondering if the timing and frequency of treatments can be planned differently depending on my skin condition. I would also like to know what lifestyle habits I should pay attention to to reduce recurring breakouts, and which cosmetics I should avoid when my skin is sensitive. I want to manage my skin consistently without putting strain on it.
