I have a string of gatherings and invitation-giving events for close friends’ weddings scheduled for this fall, and I’ll be taking a lot of photos. Lately, the hollowness in my cheeks and my nasolabial folds have become so prominent that I’m starting to dread meeting people. I heard that laser lifting has limitations in adding volume and takes several months to see results, so I’d like to get fillers for immediate effects. They are certainly a popular choice, but I’m really curious about how many days it usually takes for the bruising and swelling to go down, and whether it will be barely noticeable if I put on makeup and go to work the very next day. I’m worried that getting fillers right before an important appointment and ending up with a puffy face or looking unnatural would be truly miserable. I’m hesitating because I’m afraid I’ll regret it, so could you please give me some advice regarding the recovery period immediately after the procedure and when it takes for the results to look natural?
