Fine wrinkles appear around my eyes whenever I smile broadly. Will eye Botox help?

I tend to smile a lot, but at some point, I noticed that whenever I smiled broadly, fine, fan-like wrinkles would spread out around the outer corners of my eyes. Since the skin around my eyes is so thin, when I smile with makeup on, the foundation cracks and settles into the wrinkles, making my makeup look messy and making me look much older. Even though I apply plenty of eye cream and moisturize thoroughly, I found that cosmetics simply cannot prevent the physical skin folding that occurs when making facial expressions. I am looking into eye Botox, which gently tightens the muscles around the eyes to prevent wrinkles from deepening. However, I am cautious about potential side effects like eye paralysis, where my eyes don't fold properly when smiling or I make awkward facial expressions. I would like to hear advice from those who have naturally reduced only their eye wrinkles. I also tend to wear eye makeup frequently... sigh...
