The sides of my jaw are angular, and my jawline is sagging. I would like to ask if jaw Botox is a good option at this age.
Hello. I am over seventy and still working at a company.
I have had a habit of clenching my molars since I was young. Perhaps because of this, the sides of my jaw look hard and the lower part of my face looks angular. Lately, there are days when my jaw feels stiff after eating tough food.
However, as I've gotten older, my jawline has sagged again. With both the angular and sagging parts present, the lower part of my face looks heavier when I look in the mirror. I am attaching a photo.
I have heard about jaw Botox, but I have one concern. I am wondering if reducing the muscle mass will make the sagging skin look even more droopy. I would also like to ask if, in my case, it would be more appropriate to consider a lifting procedure before Botox.
I have a work schedule, so it would be difficult if the swelling or bruising lasted too long. I would like to know if there is a period where chewing is uncomfortable after the injection, and how long it takes to see results.
As the weather gets colder and year-end gatherings start to be scheduled, I would like to receive a consultation before then. Please reply.

I am also concerned about vertical wrinkles, so I would like to refer to answers regarding whether eyebrows can feel heavy after wrinkle Botox and how long the effects last.280026.11.02

- 01CommentsSince wrinkles around the mouth are in an area that moves a lot when speaking or smiling, I imagine you are most concerned about whether your facial expressions will look natural after the procedure. The choice between Botox and fillers depends on the cause of the wrinkles, so I recommend consulting with a doctor to compare recovery times and lasting effects.550026.10.30

- 03CommentsI also wanted to know how to distinguish during a consultation whether the vertical fine lines around the mouth are caused by dryness or muscle movement. Since I am also bothered by vertical wrinkles, I would appreciate it if you could provide a response regarding whether the consultation focuses on wrinkle Botox or skin Botox.1660026.11.01
