I am debating whether to get fillers for my wrinkles or a thread lift.
Hello
As I get older and the signs of aging... lately, whenever I look in the mirror, all I see are the deep nasolabial folds on both sides of my mouth, and it is causing me quite a bit of stress.
Even when I apply makeup, foundation keeps settling into my wrinkles, and my complexion looks tired and depressed, so I would like to improve this with a dermatological procedure. When I looked into consultations, I learned that for deep nasolabial folds, there is a method to fill in the sunken areas with fillers, and for wrinkles, there is a method using thread lifting to pull up sagging cheeks.
For nasolabial folds like mine, which have developed due to a general loss of skin elasticity as I age, which procedure would be more natural and long-lasting? I am worried that fillers might shift or clump over time, and I am hesitant about thread lifting because I fear severe pain or a foreign body sensation. I am seeking advice from those with experience on which of the two procedures offers higher satisfaction for middle-aged patients.
