A 12-year veteran office worker feeling intimidated by the new staff... I'm curious about the recommended number of anti-aging treatments.

Hello, Maypure community members! Haha. I'm sure you all spent the day working hard in your respective places. Today, my reflection in the mirror looked particularly pathetic, so I am writing this post to cheer myself up. I have entered my 12th year of teaching, and every spring, when fresh, energetic new teachers in their 20s are assigned to our school, I find myself feeling intimidated without even realizing it. Haha. Looking at their characteristically radiant and firm skin, and then seeing my own dull, sagging face in the bathroom mirror, makes me feel bitter, as if I have taken the full brunt of the effects of time all by myself. In the past, even if I worked late for a few days and pushed myself too hard, my skin would return to a radiant glow after a good night's sleep. But now, it seems I can no longer defy the force of gravity; I can feel my nasolabial folds deepening and the area around my eyes hollowing out in real time. ㅠㅠ No matter how much I pour on expensive, supposedly high-quality skincare products like firming creams and eye creams, or scrub my face vigorously with a gua sha every evening, I simply cannot restore that firmness that comes from deep within my skin.

I felt that if I continued like this, I would look much older than my actual age, so I finally decided to step into the world of anti-aging treatments. However, once I actually looked into it, I found the variety of procedures to be so vast—ranging from laser lifting to skin boosters and thread lifting—that as a beginner, there is a mountain of things to learn. I would like to create a comprehensive anti-aging treatment plan that can improve surface elasticity, address internal dryness, and add overall volume. How do people typically start their treatments when visiting a clinic? Also, I’ve heard that these anti-aging treatments aren't just one-offs but require consistent care to be meaningful. I am curious about the standard frequency guidelines for anti-aging treatments and how many times a year is generally recommended. I am worried that receiving treatments too frequently might thin my skin or cause irritation, but I also worry that leaving too long a gap between sessions might reduce the effectiveness. I am struggling to determine the appropriate frequency for these treatments. I understand that everyone has different budgets and skin conditions, but if you could share a recommended number of anti-aging treatments and a treatment plan that is affordable and sustainable for a working professional in their mid-30s, it would be a huge help to a dermatology beginner like me. We all want to stay beautiful and youthful even as we age, right? Haha. I’m eagerly awaiting your honest, candid, and real reviews and advice. Have a good night!!
