Marks from picking at them due to stress at the beginning of the semester... Will the acne scar treatment take a long time?

Hello everyone. Did you all make sure to have a hearty meal? Lately, every time I look in the mirror, I swallow my tears while blaming my fingers. My skin isn't usually that bad, but whenever work stress reaches its peak and I have to work overtime frequently—like at the beginning of a semester or during the year-end tax settlement period—large, painful breakouts break out like a carpet bombing around my chin and cheeks. I should have just left them alone and applied soothing patches, but I took out that stress on my face by haphazardly squeezing and picking at them with my dirty hands at home, and it ended up being a disaster. Severe red and brown pigmentation is a given, but I've even developed pitted marks all over my face that are impossible to cover up with makeup. Even layering concealer only accentuates those distinctive, uneven textures, and whenever I take off my mask to eat, it feels like people are staring only at my chin, to the point where I'm on the verge of developing social phobia. I have tried applying generous amounts of skin-regenerating ointment and even using scar creams like Noscarna every night before bed, but seeing that there is no improvement even after a month, I think I have already exceeded the limits of my regenerative capacity. Deciding that I urgently need professional help, I am looking into acne scar treatments, but I am hesitant to take the plunge because they have a notorious reputation for being extremely painful and having long recovery periods.

I’ve heard that there are many types of Fraxel treatments, and that a combination of regenerative injections and subcision is necessary for skin to truly fill in. Given that I have deep pitted scars mixed with hyperpigmentation like mine, will I be able to see proper results from the acne scar treatment? Also, since I work full-time, I have to squeeze in a quick break after work on weekdays. I’m curious about the total duration of the entire procedure, from anesthesia to soothing care.
