I'm curious about the pros and cons of pore treatments!!

My biggest skin concern these days is my pores. ㅠㅠㅠ The sides of my nose and cheeks look especially bumpy, so even when I apply makeup, it doesn't look clean; instead, it feels like the flaws are being highlighted even more, which is so stressful. So I'm looking into pore treatments, but there are so many posts that only list the pros, which actually makes me more anxious lol.

I’ve heard that pore treatments improve skin texture and help makeup apply better. Is the difference really noticeable? I’ve seen stories about people's skin tone becoming clearer after the treatment, so I am looking forward to it. However, I am also worried because I’ve heard there are side effects like redness, peeling, scabbing, and dryness.

I've heard that people with particularly sensitive skin might experience worsening breakouts after pore treatments, and that's what scares me the most. I'm really worried that I might end up spending money for nothing only to have my skin break out even more. Also, I heard that pore treatments aren't a one-time thing but require repeated maintenance, so the cost is quite a burden.

For those of you who have actually received pore treatments, please honestly tell me the pros and cons!! I'm also curious if you were satisfied enough to get the same treatment again.
