Is it okay to get an acne treatment in the summer?!!
As the weather gets warmer, I suddenly have a dilemma, lol. I was originally planning to get an acne treatment this month, but I'm worried if it's okay to get it done in the summer. The UV rays are strong and I sweat a lot, so I'm afraid my skin might just get more sensitive.
I've heard that UV protection is especially important after acne treatments. I get quite a bit of sun exposure during my commute, so I'm worried about developing hyperpigmentation. I'm wondering if it would be better to wait until autumn or winter, or if I can get the treatment in the summer while still managing my skin well.
I'm even more confused because I've heard that acne treatments are actually more necessary in the summer due to increased sebum production. I want to know if sweating a lot is bad for the skin, and if acne treatments are difficult for people who exercise or spend a lot of time outdoors. I'm worried that my skin might break out even worse after getting the treatment.
I'd appreciate reviews from those who have actually received acne treatments in the summer!! Please let me know honestly whether it was okay in the summer, or if waiting for the right season was better haha.
