I'm curious about the duration of the blemish treatment I received a few years ago.

A few years ago, I was quite bothered by my blemishes, so I received a treatment for them at a dermatology clinic. At the time, I was very satisfied because my face felt much clearer, but lately I have been worried again as it seems like the blemishes are gradually reappearing over time.

When I first got the blemish treatment, I think I was told that the results would last a long time if I took good care of it. However, now that a few years have passed, I'm not sure if they are naturally reappearing or if it's because I neglected my care. I tried to apply sunscreen as best I could, but during periods when I spent a lot of time outdoors, my cheekbones and cheeks definitely felt dull again.

How long can I expect the results of blemish treatments to typically last? I am curious whether the effects last for a few years after a single treatment, or if it is more akin to periodic maintenance that requires repeat sessions. For those who received blemish treatments in the past, how many years did you wait before getting them done again?

I am considering a re-treatment, but I am worried that my skin might have become more sensitive than when I first received it. I would appreciate advice regarding the duration of the blemish treatment results or for those with experience with re-treatments.
