I am often told that my skin is naturally fair and clear, but lately, when I look closely in the mirror, I’ve started seeing small blemishes one by one that weren't there before. They aren't very dark or too big to cover with makeup yet, but I find myself wondering if I should start taking care of them now so I won't regret it later.
Some people around me say that since I am still young, I don't necessarily need to get treatments for blemishes, while others say that getting them treated early would actually help keep my skin looking cleaner. I am conflicted because of this. I know consulting a dermatologist would be the most accurate way to find out, but I would like to get some general information before I go.
Who is generally a good candidate for blemish treatments? I am curious if there are cases where treatments are recommended even for those like me who do not yet have severe blemishes. I would like to hear from those with experience on whether simple whitening care, sunscreen, and basic skincare are sufficient at this stage, or if it is okay to consider blemish treatments early on.
If anyone in their early 20s has received blemish treatment, I would be grateful if you could let me know who you recommend it for, when to get it, and what I should definitely know before getting it done :)
