Does the effect of Botox last longer if I get it regularly?!!

I became curious because I heard that many people get Botox regularly rather than just once. I heard that the effects last longer if you get it repeatedly, so I want to know if that is actually true.

I heard that it usually lasts about 3 to 4 months at first, but if you keep getting it, your muscles move less, so the maintenance period gets longer. I'm curious if that's true, or if there's just a lot of individual variation lol.

I'm also a little worried because I've heard that getting it too often can lead to resistance. I feel like it would be more of a loss if I get it too frequently and then the effect wears off later.

I want to use Botox for a natural-looking maintenance look, but I am also wondering what the most appropriate interval is. Clinics usually tell you to come in periodically, and I am curious if that is the right approach.
