Who is recommended for pore treatments? Can I do it in advance?
Lately, when I watch beauty YouTubers or Instagram shorts, they really scare me by saying that I need to start taking care of my skin early in my early 20s with beauty devices or at a dermatologist so that it doesn't suddenly deteriorate after I turn 30. ㅠㅠ Especially after hearing the terrifying words that once sebaceous glands or pores widen, they can never be restored, I suddenly got really scared too.
So, I'm writing this post to the experts at the beauty cafe because I'm wondering if I should look into pore treatments in advance before I regret it later! Do people in their early 20s like me, who don't have cakey makeup yet and have a pretty good base of skin, really need to go to a dermatologist for such harsh treatments? I have absolutely no idea if clinics usually recommend pore treatments to young people with good skin like me when you go for a consultation, or if it's only for those with really excessive sebum production and gaping holes.
Are there any senior beauty enthusiasts here who know for sure who I should recommend for truly effective pore treatments? Please give me some realistic advice on whether it is worth saving up my part-time job earnings now to treat myself as a preventative measure, or if I should just diligently apply hydrating ampoules without irritating my skin for now. I really want to protect my precious, clear skin!
