My upper lip hair is a bit dark; would I be recommended for laser hair removal? lol

I usually have quite dark hair growing on my philtrum rather than fine downy hair, so whenever I wear makeup, it looks like a man's beard. It's a complex for me and really stressful ㅠㅠ. Trying to shave it with an eyebrow razor or pluck it with tweezers at home every day hurts enough to bring tears to my eyes, and it leaves cuts on my skin, so it feels like my pores are just getting wider lol. I felt like I couldn't handle it with just home care because it was too much of a hassle, so on my face Laser hair removal I'm thinking of just getting a session at the dermatology clinic!
