My hair grows back immediately after shaving... I'm curious about the actual effectiveness and frequency of laser hair removal.
Maybe it's because my hair is on the thicker side, but whenever I shave—not only my legs and arms, but even my underarms—the prickly hair grows back immediately within a day or two. ㅠㅠ So, hair removal has been really stressful every summer, and I've been debating whether or not to get laser hair removal this year. I know that laser hair removal targets the pigment in the hair follicles to prevent hair from growing back, but I'm confused about how "semi-permanent" the effect is and whether it's completely permanent. I've read that the results usually become stable after about 5 to 10 sessions at intervals of 4 to 8 weeks.
The issue is the treatment cycle and the number of sessions per area. If I treat three areas at once—legs, entire arms, and underarms—I am wondering if it is better to standardize the laser hair removal cycle into a single schedule, or to adjust it for each area according to the hair growth rate. I have also heard that very fine vellus hairs can remain even after laser hair removal, so I would like to know what level of actual effectiveness is realistic to expect. Finally, I would like to receive advice on the cost range for 1-session and 5-session packages for underarms, the upper lip, and legs. Also, considering the treatment cycle and duration, I would like to know whether it is better to start the entire process at once or to divide it up and treat it gradually.
