Will melasma recur even after receiving Pico Toning?

Recently, while looking in the mirror, I noticed faint freckles and blemishes that weren't there before, so it started to bother me.

It can be covered with makeup, but
I'm looking into it because I think it would be better to manage it in advance since I'm worried it might get darker over time.

Then I found out about a procedure called Pico Toning.
I noticed that there are really a lot of people getting it for pigmentation management.

I just have a question.

I've seen a lot of reviews saying that Pico Toning is effective, but
I am wondering if there are cases where melasma reappears or recurs even after the procedure.

Is it the type that lasts a long time once maintained?
Or I would also like to know if it is a procedure that needs to be received periodically.

For those who actually received it, what aspects were you most satisfied with?

Was the fading of the freckles the most satisfying?

I would also like to hear how severe the pain was.

Is it going to be painful since it's your first time getting a laser treatment?
I am wondering if it is manageable if I apply anesthetic cream.

When did daily activities like washing my face or applying makeup become possible?
