Does the Pico Toning cycle handle sensitive skin differently?
I am writing to inquire because I am curious if the Pico Toning cycle is adjusted differently for sensitive skin. My skin is on the fairer side, but my cheeks turn red easily when irritated, and when I am not feeling well, I sometimes feel a stinging sensation just from changing my cosmetics.
However, I tend to get pigmentation easily, so my cheekbones always look patchy; that is why I am looking into Pico Toning. I’ve heard that Pico Toning is a laser commonly used for pigmentation, but I’m worried if it’s suitable for sensitive skin like mine.
If possible, I am wondering if the Pico Toning cycle is generally longer than for normal skin. Is it possible to start with a low dose and adjust it based on my skin's reaction? I am hesitating because I am worried that redness might persist or dryness might worsen after Pico Toning.
I would like to know if you assess the condition of my skin barrier before starting Pico Toning, and if you proceed with soothing or moisturizing treatments if necessary. I want to start safely. Please help me!
