The areas I want to treat keep expanding to my underarms, philtrum, and calves... I want to know the effectiveness and treatment cycle of laser hair removal all at once.
At first, I was only concerned about my underarms, but now I’m bothered by the fine hairs on my upper lip and calves as well, so I feel like shaving or waxing just isn't enough to manage them. That is why I am seriously considering laser hair removal, which is said to reduce hair to near-semi-permanent levels. However, since the thickness and density of the hair vary by area, I’m not sure how to determine the effectiveness or schedule the treatment.
From what I have heard, for areas with thick, dark hair like the underarms or bikini line, you can feel some effect after just one or two sessions, and you can expect near-semi-permanent results by repeating the treatment 5 to 6 times at intervals of 4 to 6 weeks. For larger areas like the arms and legs, noticeable effects appear after three sessions, and I have heard that the results can last for over one to two years with a total of 5 to 8 sessions. Since I am fine with coming consistently once I start, I plan to aim for about 5 to 6 sessions per area within a year. I would like to receive a consultation on what level of effectiveness I can expect from laser hair removal for each area, and how to design the treatment cycle based on my hair thickness and skin type.
