My skin looks so dull, and I'd like to ask for a laser consultation because of my freckles and blemishes.
Hello! I am an office worker in my 30s who is under a lot of stress lately because my skin looks dull and messy every time I look in the mirror.
I don't think it used to be this bad, but recently, the brown spots resembling melasma around my eyes and cheeks have become noticeably darker and spreading. There is a limit to how much I can cover them up with makeup, and I’ve even been told I look tired when I go barefaced, so I’m planning to take this opportunity to get a proper laser treatment. Since this is my very first time dealing with lasers at a dermatology clinic, I’m a complete novice... so I’m writing this post to ask you a few questions!
Looking at the condition of my skin, it seems like I need to get something like melasma laser toning or pico laser treatment. When you are concerned about both blemishes and overall skin tone improvement like me, which laser is usually recommended? Do you do it?
My skin is thin and sensitive, with a tendency to get slightly red, so my biggest concern is whether it might break out or become even more sensitive after the laser treatment. I have to go to work the very next day, so I am also wondering if this laser causes severe facial redness or heavy scabbing. Is it usually possible to resume daily activities immediately afterward?
Lastly, I would like to sign up for a package of 5 or 10 sessions to attend consistently. I would appreciate it if you could let me know the approximate total cost and how long the results last. I would like to schedule a consultation around this weekend, so please also let me know your available time slots!
