I almost cried looking in the mirror under the light because of my acne scars.

조명 밑에서 거울 보다가 여드름 흉터 때문에 진짜 눈물 날뻔 했어요

I usually thought it was passable when I looked at it under fluorescent lights or with makeup roughly covering it up. But looking at it under lighting shining down from above, the pitted acne scars on my cheeks are shadowed like the surface of the moon, making them look like they have holes all over them.

I feel like breaking my own fingers for squeezing and picking at acne back in my school days. You know how applying sunscreen or foundation doesn't fill in the bumps; instead, the makeup gets stuck in those pits, making the scars look even messier and more prominent, right? Seriously...

As I get older and lose skin elasticity, it upsets me that the scars seem to be stretching more vertically. If I get treatments like lasers, will my skin, which really looks like an orange peel, become a little smoother?
