I've heard a lot of people say that laser hair removal is more painful than expected. How painful is it actually?
Recently, I have been looking up a lot of reviews as I consider getting laser hair removal.
I became interested because so many people are satisfied with the results, but I can't bring myself to make an appointment because the stories about the pain are so varied.
Some people say it feels like being snapped by a rubber band, while others say it was quite painful depending on the area, so I am very curious about the actual intensity.
For those of you who have had laser hair removal, were you very nervous during your first treatment? I would like to hear your experiences—whether it was better than you thought once you actually received it, or if it was more painful than you expected.
I am also curious if the pain of laser hair removal varies significantly depending on the area. I would like to know if the sensation is very different for specific parts like the underarms, arms, and legs.
I am also curious if the procedure finishes faster than expected, and how long the redness of the skin lasts after the treatment.
I tend to be a bit of a scaredy-cat, so I think I'll feel more at ease knowing this in advance haha. I'd appreciate honest reviews from those who have actually tried it!
