How do you usually schedule your laser hair removal cycle?
Hello. I recently started laser hair removal and am writing this post because I am wondering when I should get my next treatment. The clinic usually recommends getting treatments every 4 to 6 weeks, but since I heard that the frequency can vary depending on individual hair growth rates and the area being treated, I would like to hear opinions from those who have actually experienced this.
Since I am still new to this, I am not sure how often I should get laser hair removal treatments for the best results. I am also wondering if moving my appointment date forward or backward slightly would reduce the effectiveness. In particular, I would like to know if the appropriate treatment frequency varies depending on the area, such as the underarms or legs.
Looking at online reviews, some people say they received treatments consistently every four weeks, while others say it was better to leave an interval of about six to eight weeks. I’ve heard that getting it done too soon might reduce the effectiveness since the hair isn't in the growth phase, but conversely, there are also claims that waiting too long prolongs the treatment period, so I’m confused about what is correct.
I also heard that shaving is fine during laser hair removal, but that waxing or plucking should be avoided. I am curious to know how those who have received the treatment for a long time handled their intermediate care. I would appreciate it if you could let me know how many sessions it usually took to notice a significant reduction in hair, and how often you receive maintenance care.
Since this is my first time getting laser hair removal, I have so many questions. I would appreciate your advice, including how you scheduled your appointments, what you did when you missed a session, and any specific tips I should follow to maximize the results. Thank you.
