What would be good for my melasma that seems to have gotten darker after my vacation?
I was concerned about my freckles and blemishes, but now that summer has arrived, I am even more self-conscious. I am worried because they seem to have gotten darker after my vacation.
I heard that although melasma and blemishes look similar on the surface, their causes and depths differ, so the results can vary significantly even when using the same laser. Is that correct?
I would like to know if laser toning alone is sufficient for my skin condition, or if combining it with other treatments such as IPL, Pico laser, and Ruby laser would be effective, as there are many other options available.
I'm also curious about reviews from those who have experienced it, including how many sessions are typically required to expect noticeable improvement. I'm also interested in the treatment intervals and the duration of the results.
Also, is there any possibility of side effects after the procedure, such as the pigmentation becoming darker or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation? I have heard that if the procedure is done incorrectly, the pigmentation can worsen, so I am curious if that is actually true.
I’ve heard that melasma frequently recurs and usually requires consistent treatment over several sessions. How many sessions would typically be appropriate? I’m curious to know which laser treatment would be suitable for me.
