Is laser treatment a surefire way to remove blemishes?

This summer, My skin turned completely earthy after doing a lot of outdoor activities. I thought I was applying sunscreen diligently, but I guess it didn't work. When I looked in the mirror, I saw that freckles and blemishes that weren't there before were slowly creeping up around my eyes and cheekbones, I am so upset because my overall face tone looks dull and messy.

Even when I apply makeup, it doesn't look clear and appears patchy, so I just sigh every time I look in the mirror. I thought about trying whitening cosmetics, but, I heard that existing freckles or blemishes cannot be resolved with home care alone.

I think getting laser toning or whitening treatments at a dermatology clinic would be the fastest and most certain way, There are so many types of procedures that I don't know which one to choose.
