I keep noticing tiny blood vessels next to my nose. Is it possible to manage this with a laser treatment?
I never thought I’d be looking into lasers, haha. It’s not blemishes or enlarged pores; I’m looking into it because of the tiny red blood vessels visible next to my nose.
At first, I thought the area around my nose was just a little red. But when I looked closely, I realized it wasn't the skin itself that was red, but that I could see thin, blood vessel-like spots in a few places. Makeup covers them up to some extent, but they show up again once the base wears off over time.
It feels like the redness gets worse, especially after drinking alcohol or staying in a hot place for a long time. It also turns red starting from around the nose after exercising.
I wondered if there was anything I could do about this with cosmetics, so I tried quite a few soothing products, but I didn't really notice any difference haha. My skin does get moisturized, but there doesn't seem to be any change in the visible capillaries, so I started looking into laser treatments.
But it seems there are separate laser procedures specifically for blood vessels.
Has anyone had this done because of tiny blood vessels next to the nose?
What I'm most curious about is how the treated area turns out. I have absolutely no idea if the red lines fade immediately, or if they actually get redder at first and then disappear over time haha.
I'm also wondering if it can be finished in one session. The area isn't large, just a few spots on either side of the nose, so I thought it would be simple, but I looked it up and saw that some people have had it done multiple times.
Also, how painful is this laser procedure? It would be fine if it just stings, but since it's around my nose, I'm a little scared it might be particularly painful.
I am also wondering if there is a possibility of bruising after the procedure. Since it is in the center of my face, I think any bruising would be very visible, so I am wondering if I should get it done during a week when I don't have any important events.
Also, even if the capillaries disappear, can they reappear in the same spot later? I usually enjoy going to the sauna, so I'm wondering if I should cut back on that habit as well.
