Should I combine it with other procedures rather than doing Pico Toning alone?

I have combination skin with light freckles on my cheekbones and dark lentigines around my nose.

The dermatologist recommended combining Pico Toning with other pigment lasers like PicoSure Zoom Path, IPL, or Excel V rather than doing Pico Toning alone to achieve clearer skin. However, bundling the packages as recommended would double my budget, which is a burden. Would it be possible to even out my skin tone to some extent if I start with Pico Toning alone for now?

Also, I am wondering if it is true that receiving only Pico Toning is a waste of money for those with a mix of melasma and blemishes. I desperately need advice from those with experience treating complex pigmentation issues. Any words would be helpful. Thank you.
