My skin is on the sensitive side; would it be okay for me to get a pore laser treatment?
I am constantly bothered by the pores around my nose and cheeks, so I would like to try laser treatment, but I am worried because my skin tends to be sensitive. On days when I am not feeling well, my cheeks easily turn red just from washing my face, and sometimes even the cosmetics I usually use feel stinging.
My skin isn't severely sensitive, but if I use harsh exfoliation, dryness tends to linger for a few days. Is it possible to receive pore laser treatment on skin like this?
I am wondering if it is possible to start with a lower intensity or choose a method with relatively less irritation based on the skin condition during the initial treatment. I would like to manage my skin in a way that places less burden on it, even if the effects appear a little slowly.
I would like to know if there are cases where the skin is stabilized first before proceeding if the skin barrier condition is poor before the procedure.
