Do blemishes fade immediately after laser treatment, or is there a period where they appear darker?
I am looking into laser treatments for my blemishes, and I am most curious about the post-procedure process.
Looking at the photo reviews, some people said it looked clean right away, while others mentioned that the color actually looked darker for a few days.
I don't just have one or two dark spots; they are small dots here and there that bother me, so I would like to get them tidied up.
But I'm a little scared because I heard that scabs might form or the color might temporarily darken after the laser treatment haha.
Is this kind of change common?
I am wondering if there are cases where blemishes appear more prominent at first but naturally fade after a few days.
I have to meet people every day for work, so it is difficult to schedule appointments if the procedure is too noticeable right after.
Does the degree of scabbing or redness vary significantly depending on the type of laser?
I am curious if there are procedures that are relatively less noticeable, like toning, and conversely, if procedures that clearly target pigmentation require a longer recovery period.
And the laser treatment for blemishes doesn't remove them all at once, right? Haha.
I am also curious whether the process involves receiving it once and reviewing the remaining parts, or if you plan for a few sessions from the beginning.
I heard that you really need to apply sunscreen more thoroughly after the procedure, so I would also like to know how much more attention I need to pay to UV protection than usual.
Would it be better to take a break from functional cosmetics for a while?
I'm worried that applying this and that just to get better quickly might actually irritate it.
If anyone has received laser treatment for blemishes, please let me know how your skin changed from immediately after the procedure until they actually faded.
I'm also curious if the recovery was faster than expected.
