Could I get a consultation regarding the effectiveness of blemish treatment, even if I am not sure if it is melasma or blemishes?

I have several light brown spots on my cheeks, so I am searching for blemish treatments, but I cannot tell if they are just blemishes or melasma. Some parts look small like dots, while others are faintly spread out, so it seems like they might not be the same type of pigment.

I read that if the type of pigment is misidentified during the procedure, it can actually become darker, so I'm a little worried about getting the treatment without careful consideration.

In this case as well, could I start with a consultation for blemish treatment?

I am also wondering if it is necessary to first identify the type and depth of the pigmentation to achieve the proper effects of blemish treatment. I would like to know if the type of laser or intensity used varies depending on the skin condition, even for blemish treatment. I would like to have my condition accurately assessed and receive treatment only on the necessary areas.
