Is laser hair removal recommended for people with thicker and darker hair?

I do want to try laser hair removal, but since my hair isn't super thick, I'm wondering if it will be effective haha.

I looked it up and found that the laser reaction can vary depending on the thickness or color of the hair.

So, I am asking this question before the consultation because I am concerned that getting laser hair removal might not guarantee the same results for everyone.

Is laser hair removal typically recommended for people with thick, dark hair who have to shave frequently?

I am wondering if consistent treatments will help manage hair even if I have a mix of thick and thin hair like me.

Is it possible to notice changes in thicker hair first, while thinner hair takes longer?

I prefer to be less bothered by hair overall rather than getting rid of it completely.

I think I would be fully satisfied if I shave less often and look cleaner than before, even up close haha.

I am also curious if the recommendations for laser hair removal vary depending on skin color or sensitivity.

My skin isn't very sensitive to irritation, so I'm a little scared of getting a high intensity right from the start.

In this case, do you determine the laser hair removal intensity by considering both the skin and hair conditions?

I would also like to know if I can personally check whether the hair is thick or thin during the consultation and receive an explanation regarding the expected number of sessions or the effectiveness.

I'm worried that if I just read online reviews and compare myself to others, I'll be disappointed if the results are slow, so I want to start with realistic expectations that suit my condition from the beginning haha.

For those of you who have consistently received laser hair removal even though your hair isn't particularly thick, how satisfied were you?

Please share your experience on whether it has definitely become easier to manage than before after a few sessions.
