For scalp dandruff and itching, is there anything I should check before changing my shampoo?

Scheduled branch to visit: Maypure Mokdong branch

I am wondering if it is possible to first determine if the issue is simply caused by dryness when I see white flakes on my scalp and feel itchy. I feel that managing hair volume or density requires a different approach to consultation than addressing discomfort on the scalp surface. Before looking into various methods under the name of "scalp care," I would like to ask how best to describe my current condition.

Should I distinguish between dandruff that breaks off in small flakes and dandruff that appears to be stuck to the scalp? I am also wondering if it would be helpful to specify the location—whether it is on the crown of the head, behind the ears, or at the back of the head. Since the sensation can differ immediately after washing your hair compared to after some time has passed, I think it would be best to describe not only how it looks on the day of the consultation but also when you usually feel the most discomfort.

I would also like to know the criteria for choosing a shampoo. It is difficult for me to make decisions on my own, such as choosing a product with strong cleansing power because it feels itchy, or conversely, reducing the frequency of washing my hair out of fear of dryness. I am wondering if I should determine the washing frequency and product based on my skin condition. Should I mention products that come into contact with the scalp, such as hair wax or spray, in addition to the shampoo I currently use?

I imagine some people might start by thinking about scrubs or massages to cleanse their scalp. However, I am not sure if such treatments are appropriate when there are itchy or red areas. I don't think simply removing dead skin cells out of sight is the same process as identifying the recurring causes. I am curious to know what aspects are examined first during a consultation to determine the direction of treatment.

I would like to have my hair drying method checked as well. What daily details would be helpful to record, such as air temperature, how much I dry my scalp, or my habit of wearing a hat for extended periods? Since my condition might be obscured by my hair when taking photos, I would also like to know if it is better to check it in person during the consultation. I am also wondering if I need to intentionally remove any dead skin cells before coming.

I would like to start by asking if a scalp consultation focusing on itching and dandruff is available at the Mokdong branch. Rather than immediately choosing specific treatments or injection procedures, I would like to confirm if a medical examination is necessary. I imagine some people might be wondering if they should just try changing their shampoo; could you please explain what kind of changes indicate that it is better not to put off addressing the issue with just lifestyle management? I am leaving this question because I want to learn the proper way to wash my hair, haha.

무조건 샴푸 선택이 정말 중요해요. 저는 여러 가지 샴푸를 섞어서 밤낮이나 계절맞게 사용해 주고 있어요.
