Is it okay for pores to look bigger after squeezing out sebum?

I have sometimes gently pressed on my nose to remove sebum when I noticed it, and although it felt clean at the moment, later I noticed the spot where the sebum was removed looked like a hole, making it feel like my pores have actually gotten bigger.

Since sebum builds up again after a few days, I end up repeating the process, and the area around my nose sometimes turns red, so I’m trying not to touch it anymore.

If the sebum is already clogged, I am wondering if it is better to just leave it at home or get it professionally extracted.

Is there a specific skincare routine to reduce sebum that reappears even after extraction? I want to manage my pores to prevent them from enlarging while also controlling sebum, so I would like to know which method is suitable.
