I have recurring pimples on my chin that keep popping up in the same spot. I'm curious about the cause and treatment methods!
Hello. I am writing to inquire because I have been deeply concerned about recurring skin trouble around my chin recently. For some time now, while the rest of my face is clear, breakouts have been appearing periodically only along my jawline and around my mouth. Even after they subside for a while, red, painful, pustular acne inevitably pops up in the same spot whenever I am tired or my period is approaching.
Even though I try my best not to touch them, the marks remain very deep, and every time I squeeze them, scars or hyperpigmentation form, causing me stress every time I look in the mirror. I have switched to gentle skincare products and am paying attention to my lifestyle habits, but it seems difficult to break this recurring cycle with home care alone, so I am writing this to seek help from a dermatologist.
I am curious if these chin issues are primarily caused by hormones or internal factors, and I would like to know how dermatologists typically begin treatment, such as extraction, scaling, or laser therapy. I would also appreciate your advice on how to manage the existing red marks and scars. I know you are busy, but I look forward to your reply. Thank you!
