Is the acne treatment effective even for skin that quickly refills with sebum?

I am looking into acne treatments because sebum keeps accumulating in the pores on my nose and the sides of my nose. My skin looks clear right after washing my face, but by the afternoon, the area around my nose becomes shiny, and after a few days, the sebum inside the pores becomes visible again.

It looks good for a while when I remove it myself, but after repeating the process, my skin feels red and sensitive, so now I try not to touch it carelessly.

Would acne treatment be effective for these sebum concerns? I am wondering if acne treatment involves not only removing the sebum that is already present but also methods to manage the condition to prevent excessive sebum buildup.

I would also like to know how often I should receive follow-up care after acne treatment. Rather than completely eliminating pores, I would prefer to keep my skin clear and less sebum-filled.
