For an acne management consultation, how should I organize the cosmetics and medications I am currently using?
I am wondering how much of the products and medications I normally use should be organized when receiving an acne skin care consultation at Maypure. If I use multiple products, would it be more helpful to provide the order of use, frequency, and the date I last changed them, rather than just listing the names, to help create a treatment plan?
I would like to ask if it is a good idea to prepare photos of the ingredient lists for products used daily, such as facial cleansers, moisturizers, and sunscreens. I would also like to know if I need to list exfoliating products or topical medications separately, and if I need to include information on whether a prescription was used and the usage period for pharmaceuticals.
If I am considering extraction or soothing treatments, would it be appropriate to have my current usage list reviewed before the consultation, rather than arbitrarily stopping products? I am also curious if the guidance varies depending on the planned treatment, especially regarding ingredients to avoid or specific usage intervals. Rather than adding new products, I would prefer to be explained which of my current products need to be maintained and which need adjustment.
I would also like to inquire whether I can visit on the day of the consultation with my usual cleansing and moisturizing routine, or if I need to remove my makeup and wait to check my skin condition. I would like to hear about when I can use the product again after the treatment and the guidelines for contacting them if irritation occurs, and organize the information into a simple routine that can be practiced at home.
