Nasolabial folds that makeup can't hide—the difference between domestic and imported fillers?
I have been self-conscious about the sunken nasolabial folds next to my nose for a while, but lately, even when I put a lot of effort into my makeup, that faint shadowed look just won't go away. It stands out every time I take a photo, so I am seriously looking into getting nasolabial fold fillers.
However, when I searched for clinics on the internet or apps, the prices for fillers varied so widely that I couldn't figure out what criteria to use to choose.
I am worried that if I go based solely on the cheapest promotional price, I might end up with severe bruising or swelling, or the result might look unnatural. Is there actually a significant difference in price and duration depending on the type of filler product (e.g., domestic vs. premium domestic vs. domestic/imported domestic differences)?
I heard that the first filler injection is absorbed more quickly into the skin tissue, so the effects might feel shorter. I am curious if that is true. Typically, how many months does the effect last after a single injection in the nasolabial fold area?
I would also like to know if it is possible to go to work or resume daily life immediately after the procedure, and if it would be safer to get the injection at least a few days in advance if I have an important appointment or gathering!
Rather than chasing just the price, I want to make a decision after carefully evaluating the doctor's skills and the consultation. I would be very grateful if those who have actually received nasolabial fold fillers could share their experiences on what factors they prioritized most when choosing a clinic!
