Honestly, satisfaction with the pore treatment is about 50/50.

I have experience receiving Fraxel treatment for pores in the past. At the time, I was so self-conscious about my enlarged pores that I looked into various options and chose Fraxel after hearing that it was the most effective. To be honest, back then I didn't have a deep understanding of pore treatments, and I think I just made the decision based on the claim that it was "effective."

Immediately after the procedure, I felt it was better than I expected. My skin stung a bit, but I thought it would get better over time, and indeed, many people around me had mentioned that Fraxel provides relatively definite results among pore treatments. However, the problem emerged as time passed. The redness didn't subside easily, and the flushing gradually started to get worse.

At first, I thought it was a temporary reaction, but even after a few months, my face would easily turn red and react excessively to temperature changes or stimuli. That is when I started wondering, "Is this really the result I wanted?" Although the pores themselves seemed to have improved to some extent, the redness actually made my skin look more sensitive.

So these days, I feel it is difficult to unconditionally recommend pore treatments to those considering them, just like I used to. I felt that one needs to approach this more cautiously, especially if the skin is thin or sensitive. After all, like me, the side effects can feel more significant than the results.

Personally, I’m honestly fifty-fifty. While there was definitely an effect of improving my pores, the side effect of redness significantly diminished that satisfaction. If I could choose again, I think I would have considered a gentler pore treatment or strengthening my skin barrier first.

So, based on current standards, I think the target audience is clearly distinguishable. It might be suitable to some extent for those with thick skin, good regenerative capabilities, and almost no redness or sensitive reactions, but if you have sensitive skin like mine that turns red easily, I think it is best to make a decision after undergoing sufficient consultation and testing.

Ultimately, through this experience, I clearly learned that when it comes to pore treatments, it is more important to find a method that suits my skin condition rather than looking for a "guaranteedly effective procedure." Now, I am focusing more on calming my redness, and I think I have become much more cautious in considering treatments than before.
