Hello. About a year ago, I suffered a minor burn on my cheek at home when hot pork grease splattered on it. Although the wound has almost healed, the affected area appears slightly darker than the surrounding skin, leaving a trace resembling hyperpigmentation. There is no pain or oozing, and it looks slightly brownish. I am wondering if this will fade naturally over time, or if it is better to seek treatment early. I would like to know what treatment would be appropriate at a dermatology clinic and if it is a suitable time to start treatment immediately. Additionally, if treatment is necessary, please provide guidance on the approximate number of sessions, duration, and precautions I should take.
