Does applying the soothing pack after laser hair removal hurt a lot?
I have really thick, dark downy hair growing around my mouth and chin, and it’s been my lifelong complex because it makes me look dull like a man's beard whenever I wear makeup. I used to shave it every day at home with an eyebrow razor, but that only widened my pores and irritated my skin so much that I’m thinking of getting laser hair removal at a dermatology clinic! I looked it up online and saw that they apply a soothing pack to the chin right after the procedure, like in the pictures. If someone with thick hair gets the laser shot, is it really painful enough to bring them to tears? Haha. I’m such a scaredy-cat who can't stand pain, so I’m getting scared beforehand, but I’m really curious if it’ll be bearable if I apply a generous amount of numbing cream. If I get about 5 sessions consistently, will my philtrum and jawline really become clean enough that I won't need to shave every morning? Please leave me lots of tips, experienced hair removal veterans!
