Has anyone seen results from laser treatment for melasma that has deepened over the summer?
Perhaps because I spent a lot of time outdoors, the pigmentation around my cheekbones and under my eyes has flared up so much that I urgently need melasma treatment. I am thinking of visiting a dermatologist for treatment before it gets darker, but I can't make a decision because I've heard that if pigmentation disorders are mishandled, they can actually get darker.
I was recommended to get a package of at least 10 sessions for Pico Toning or Laser Toning, but I am wondering if repeated laser treatments for melasma actually lead to noticeably clearer results. I’m not sure if the satisfaction level is high considering the cost and the time invested in visiting the clinic.
Has anyone purchased and completed the full melasma treatment package at a dermatology clinic? I would appreciate it if those who have undergone the procedure could share their honest experiences regarding whether the treatment truly brightens the skin tone and fades pigmentation.
