Can people with internal dryness receive pore laser treatment?
I am looking into laser treatments because I am concerned about the pores on the sides of my nose and cheeks, but I am writing to inquire if it is suitable for skin that is dry from within. My skin tends to produce a lot of oil and sebum around my nose, but after washing my face, my cheeks feel tight, and if I don't apply enough basic skincare products, my skin looks dull and rough.
Looking at the photo I took myself today, the pores next to my nose look prominent because they are filled with sebum, while on my cheeks, the skin texture has become rough due to dryness, making the pores appear wider.
If I aggressively manage sebum and dead skin cells to shrink pores, my cheeks become drier, and if I use too many moisturizers, the area around my nose becomes oily, so it is difficult to figure out the right direction for my home care routine.
As shown in the attached photo, is it possible to receive pore laser treatment on skin that is both oily and dry? I am wondering if I need to manage my skin barrier or hydration before the laser treatment, and if it is possible to apply different intensities to different areas. I would like recommendations for a treatment approach that can refine my skin texture while minimizing irritation.
