When I take photos, the area around my cheeks looks particularly dull.

I usually thought my skin tone was just a little dark, but looking at recent photos I took myself, the area around my cheeks looks particularly dull and patchy, so I am writing to ask for advice. The sides of my nose are slightly red, and the inside of my cheeks looks dull and grayish, making my whole face look tired.

Even if I get enough sleep and apply basic skincare products thoroughly, my skin doesn't look clear, and even when I wear makeup, the dull areas reappear after a while.

I use sunscreen every day, but I am not sure if it is a buildup of old pigmentation or if the uneven light reflection is due to my dry and rough skin. As shown in the attached photo, if the skin tone on my nose and cheeks is uneven, which area should I check first?

I am wondering if it would be better to get a laser consultation rather than just simple whitening treatments, and if the recommended procedures and number of sessions vary depending on the type of pigmentation. Rather than my skin becoming suddenly white, I would prefer the uneven appearance to be naturally evened out.
